The Kazakh State Circus Alma-Ata

The building of the Kazakh Circus was built on the direct initiative of the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Kazakh SSR, Dinmukhamed Kunaev . Since 1972 the circus has been working in its new own building ( architect VZ Katsev , IV Slonov ), in the image of which both modern tendencies and features that have associative links to the national culture of the Kazakh people were reflected. The rotunda is crowned by a hyperbolic dome. The amphitheater for 2160 seats is girded with 2 tiered foyers, in which there are cupboards, a wardrobe. In the administrative and domestic building are placed artistic make-up, training arena, dining room, premises for animals. There are 2 courtyards for walking animals.
