At the intersection of two avenues: Pushkin and Kurortnoy, near the beautiful monument of landscape art – Dendrarium, is the building of the Sochi Circus. Efforts of the first director Semen Alexandrovich Pischik, who made a significant contribution to the organization of the circus art of the city, and a group of architects under the hands. Julian Lvovich Schwarzbrane, awarded the State Prize for the Sochi Circus project, residents and guests of the resort received this unique building as a gift. May 19, 1971, under the callsign of the circus march, its opening was held, and those who witnessed the laying of the foundation will forever remember this event, in which Yuri Nikulin was a participant. Auditorium for 2 thousand seats, spacious lobbies and lobby. Convenient viewing galleries with colorful mosaic panels, unusual figures of birds and animals skillfully executed in the marble floor foyer – all this prepares for the perception of the circus action, in which artists of the highest class participate.
