Kiev State Circus

The current fundamental structure of the National Circus of Ukraine, built in Victory Square, 2 (project architect Zhukov), meets all the requirements of modern circus building, opened Nov. 5, 1960. It is the third circus building of Kiev. The earlier two buildings were both destroyed, the last one (the circus of Peter Krutikov) during WWII.

In 1998, the Kyiv state circus received the status of the National Circus of Ukraine, it gave it the legal right to be called the main circus of the Ukraine. At the Kiev Circus many new acts are created that end up touring around the world.
