The opening of the current building of the Kazan Circus was held on December 9, 1967. This unique structure, equipped with modern circus equipment, was built according to the project of architect G. M. Pichuev, engineers O. I. Berim and E. Yu. Brudny. The volume-spatial composition of the building is as original as it is classically simple, elegant. Indeed, the circus looks like two tightly closed giant bowls-shells. Monolithic reinforced concrete conical shell without internal supports and is an original feature of the building.
