Dnepropetrovsk Circus has a long and interesting history. It was founded at the end of the ХІХ century. In the city of Yekaterinoslav (now Dnepropetrovsk), and was then called the Ekaterinoslav Circus. This circus worked in a building built by J. Truzzi (existed until 1929). Since 1932, there was a circus tent, destroyed during the Second World War. Since 1959, there has been a stationary circus, since 1980 the circus has moved to the Embankment, to the city center, to the iconic building of architect P. Nirinberg.
