Inaugurated in 1890 as the Cirque Tivoli this circus building would later also be known as Cirque Palace or Cirque de Dijon. Besides circus it was also used for gatherings with music, sports as well as political gatherings. Around 1910 the name changed to Cirque-Gaumont as the circus was converted into a cinema. The building was demolished in 1935.
