24th of December 1934 – Paula Busch receives the Order to stop performing. Even though the agreement to the lease of the soil did not terminate yet, the Nazi-government use claims of constructional dangers to close the circus down. Soon after it is revealed that the circus must make way for the vision of Albert Speer for Adolf Hitler’s ‘New Berlin’. In 1937 the building is demolished.
