The Bishkek Circus in Kyrgyzstan was constructed by L. Segal, V. Shardrin, A. Nezhurin and D. Leontovich in 1976. This UFO shaped structure was built at the far edge of Victory Square to welcome circus acts from around the USSR. This modernist architectural gem is a testimony to the role that the circus played in the former Soviet Union.
